This page provides a detailed explanation of the personal data that is stored and used, the protection of personal data, collaboration with other parties, and the possibility of accessing your personal data.

Purposes of personal data collection and processing by Playmapping

  1. Good user experience of the website (e.g. country/language, user account)
  2. Communication
  3. Playmapping newsletter
  4. Analysis to improve the functioning of https://www.playmapping.co.uk/

Explanation:

  1.  Good user experience of the website (e.g. country/language, user account)
    This website is displayed in the correct language, based on the language of the Internet browser at the location of the IP address. This prevents users from having to select the language themselves and it enhances user-friendliness. This is an automatic process which means that individual users’ IP addresses and language settings are not made available to Playmapping.
    The Playmapping user account is saved on this website through the ‘login’ page on this website. This page is part of the Playmapping software. Please refer to the Playmapping Software Privacy Policy (available from your contact person) for the terms and conditions regarding user accounts.
  2. Communications
    It is possible that we will retain any emails or other messages you send to us. We will also sometimes ask for personal data that is relevant to the situation in question. This enables us to process questions and answer requests. The data is stored on Playmapping’s own secure servers or those of a third party. We will not combine this data with other personal data.
  3. Playmapping newsletter
    If you have given your explicit consent to being included in the Playmapping mailing list, we may send you emails with information about developments or information concerning the discipline in which Playmapping is active. An option to change your data or to opt out is provided at the bottom of every email we send. Your email address is included in our database exclusively for use by Playmapping. We do not share your email address and associated contact details with third parties other than storing it in the system which we use to send our newsletters.
  4. Analysis to improve the operation of the Playmapping website
    Playmapping user data is analysed to improve the platform. This data is collected and processed completely anonymously. This means that individual users are not linked to user behaviour.
    Playmapping carries out analyses to improve the platform and has adopted the following practices for this purpose:
    • Google Analytics cookies are used;
    • a data processing contract has been entered into with Google;
    • Playmapping has opted to mask the last octet of the IP address;
    • Playmapping has deactivated ‘data sharing’;
    • Playmapping does not use any other Google services in combination with the Google Analytics cookies.

Inspection, rectification or erasure of personal data

The Playmapping website does not store any personal data in the database. However, we do save any reviews you post on our website. Would you like to make changes to your review or have it removed? Please use the contact form to contact us as we are the only ones who can edit or remove reviews. We aim to handle any requests within two weeks.

Protection of your personal data where Playmapping works together with third parties

Playmapping works together with third parties to maintain, manage and host the website. Emails are sent using an external program. Processing contracts have been entered into with these parties, which means that your personal data is protected in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Security of personal data

We find your privacy to be of great importance and therefore we do our utmost to protect it in accordance with the applicable rules of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Some of the measures we have taken in this respect are securing the website through an SSL certificate, entering into processor agreements with our partners, and asking you to actively give your consent to our processing and storing your data on our website.
